I am the third owner of this 1976 Triumph TR6 roadster and have put right all of the minor things that needed fixing. Russet Brown exterior color was only offered in 1976. As mentioned above, a the accessories all work including the AM/FM/CD player, the windshield wipers and squirters, clutch master and slave cylinders, hydraulic brakes, ventilation fan, the main and auxiliary hood releases (a real necessity in TR6s) and the tonneau and boot covers. The ignition now has the Pertronix electronic replacement for the points and condenser with new spark plugs and wires. We have repaired or replaced many under-body drive line and rear differential bushings. The body is in fine shape without any significant scratches or dents. The convertible top is almost new and the plastic windows are all clear. The tires are Michelin Redline Radials and have very good tread remaining. The original equipment jack and handle are in the boot and the spare tire has good reserve tread.. As you can tell, this car is in excellent condition. I can say this because of the almost daily spontaneous contacts that other drivers on the roads make with me to remark about what a great looking car it is, what year is it, and that they had one in their younger days, etc. That makes me very proud of the work that Steve Smith and I have put into this project to bring up to showroom condition. In the short time that I have owned, it,my English car mechanic and I have put everything right to his, and my, satisfaction. You will be a proud owner of this fine automobile.
