The power is delivered to the rear wheels by a carbureted 4 cylinder engine coupled to a 4 speed Manual transmission. This vehicle starts up on the first try, drives and handles very well, no smoke is emitted through the tailpipe and it passed the most rigorous California emission control test. There is no hesitation from the engine under power and when the brakes are applied firmly, the car stops in a straight line. There are no fluids leaking from the engine or transmission. The exterior Black finish shows in great condition. All of the lighting and electrical systems are in proper working order. The interior seating surfaces, carpets and cloth Soft Top are in excellent New condition without any rips, tears or stains. Additional equipment includes an AM/FM Radio with CD player. The entire undercarriage does not show any signs of rust. Because of its age Rpm Lenders is unable to verify the odometer reading of 28,096 miles as actual or correct. This Beetle rides on a brand new set of P165R15 by American Classic. This Volkswagen would make an excellent investment or a fun daily driver.
