1970 OLDSMOBILE TORONADO GT AT A GLANCE: Production: 5,341 Option Price: $47.39 Engine: Oldsmobile Rocket 455 CID V-8 Horsepower: 400 @ 4800 rpm Final Drive: 3.07 Transmission: Special Turbo Hydra-Matic (TH-425) Up for auction is a great start to your project Toronado. Car has a few blemishes, two holes in the trunk, one rear fender lip is starting to rust and has one other behind the door, but other than that the body is very solid! Frame has some issues, has a large hole rusted through in front of drivers rear wheel, that was crudely patched. Car runs great, drives very well, has a slight shimmy at highway speed. Car has rear bumper cut-outs, GT badging and has the OM designation on the tranny. It has power windows, driver and passanger side work, rears do not. It has power locks. It was a factory A\C car, but was removed but condensor is in the trunk. Make no mistake this is not a show car, but this is a terrific start to your resto, or a parts car. Even though the frame is not in good condition this is still a rare care with a mammoth powerplant, and very resoreable body. Mileage is stuck at 92,xxx. speedo doesnt work.
