It sports a strong running 4.5 liter V8 mated to the 3 speed automatic transmission. Stopping power id provided by four wheel disc brakes. I would deem this car 99% rust-free with only some minor non-structural surface spots on the paint finish. The chrome is all original and very nice. There are some typical blemishes including rock nicks, faded spots and wear on the paint and alloy wheel finish along with flaking off of the finish on the rear window louvers. Overall this is still a quite stately gleaming silver Benz! THE INTERIOR The interior of this car is in very good to excellent original condition with most all gauges and controls in excellent working order! From the beautiful upholstery to the nice headliner and door panels to the factory carpeting, this is still a quite lovely classic cockpit. Imperfections include a/c not blowing cold, a few heat cracks on the top surface of the dash board and the clock keeps perfect time only twice daily! THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This classic 35 year-old Benz starts, runs and drives quite well with good acceleration, smooth shifting transmission, nice braking with excellent pedal feel, smooth and supple rattle and clunk-free suspension. There is a noticeable exhaust manifold flutter giving the car a more aggressive throaty sound. THE DETAILS AND $$$$$$ 1.
