Vehicle Detail

I sold this Nova but the buyer failed to pay for it so now it's back on the market once againPLEASE::PLEASE:::PLEASE::: PAY FOR THE CAR IF YOU HIT BUY IT NOW I have a 1962 Chevy II Nova 2-Door Hardtop Model 400. This 62 NOVA has the original steering and suspension I bought this from a friend in Arizona. The car is complete but hasn't ran in a few years. The car has the 6-cylinder engine in it and the Powerglide transmission. The car needs some things done with the motor before it will run. The ignition coil is missing. The radiator is not hooked up. The carb needs rebuilding. Belts, hoses, complete tune up and all fluids must be done. I took the seats out because I had to see the floor. The only real rust I found was the drivers foot area. The trunk section also needs attention and will need the trunk tub installed. I priced that part out and found it for $135 at Ecklers. This nova is complete. The suspension and body are great. There is one dent that I need to point out and that's the tip of the quarter panel. Not bad but it is a dent. Passenger window is broken and the rims are not original. Tires are okay. The 1962 was the first year that the nova was created. I am selling this as is and for a low price. You can come see her when ever you want to. I'm in Pembroke Pines, Florida. NEW INFO::: I found the original owner from California. He told me that the car was in a secured AREA in Arizona since 1992. The car was started regularly. There is only 5 in the USA that are for sale which are close to original like mine, according to an internet search we did. This car has NO added aftermarket parts on it except for the RIMS which are American Racing from the early 70s. The seats, steering, wipers, vents and buttons are all from its 1962 maiden voyage. Yes it needs refurbishing but it is all here. If you rebuild the carb, fix the radiator, put new hoses on and get the fuel pump to carb lines, get hoses and belts and a tune up than she will be a daily driver, still needs a passenger window and seats need to be redone. I have the original shop manual. This is a project car, but one that will have amazing results. Do your self a favor and come take a look at the Nova. I recently had a master builder come take a look at the nova because he was interested in owning it. He did not buy it for the $10,000 I was asking but he did tell me some valuable information. The car has original trim and the body is very solid. He liked the floors and how original it is but he wanted a 1962 nova that needed less attention. He guessed that it will take more than 100 hours of work and possibly as many as 500 hours of work to complete the restoration. I'm lowering my price now. I will offer a true view live video for you via Facetime so you can have the actual knowledge of what you are interested in. This is by far the best way for an out of towner to see the car in its NOW state. I don't want you to buy this car until you get the full details of condition, parts, looks, potential and overall feel for it. Its not like spending $20 on a set of spark plugs. Please do your research on the 1962 Chevy 2 Nova. Remember, this is a true classic and what makes it very desirable is that its a 2 door without the window-roof POST. I have not hidden anything from you about the description of this Nova but I might have missed a few items-parts so that is why I am offering you the Facetime Call. I can always send you another picture or I can shoot a personal video of the area of your choice. I have a collection of personal vehicles and most of them I bought online so I know how important it is to get the best description possible. I have since learned some more specific details about this Particular Nova. I was told by one of the leading Nova Builders in the USA that the alarm I wrote is a Factory Alarm is not correct. This year (62) there was no alarm that was put in by GM. I am not 100% sure of when it was installed but I just know that it is there. There is no Barrel key that I can find that will fit it but I am confident that you can install any barrel keyed switch there if you want to replace it. Once again, I want you to know everything there is to know about the condition and parts that are on this car. The Nova expert who reached out to me also pointed out that the ignition switch is not mentioned to be missing in my description. I want to make it clear that the ignition switch with the key is not in the car. The previous owner has put a toggle switch in the Nova. You can see it in the picture (red) with 2 wires. My main goal is to get all of the correct information that I know about out to you as soon as I know. My you TUBE channel has 4 videos of the Nova Type in jack Bartels and look for the 1962 chevy nova unveiling by jack bartels I HAVE PUT THIS BACK ON THE MARKET AGAIN BECAUSE THE LAST PROSPECTUS BUYER WAS AN 11 YEAR OLD KID WHO HAS ACCESS TO HIS MOTHERS EBAY ACCOUNT. HE WON IT BUT THE MOM WAS NOT HAPPY!!!!! I took about 50 pictures today of specific detailed parts of the Nova for your viewing. The underbody and front suspension were my key points to shoot. Please check out my Videos on my you tube channel for a precise view of the interior, engine compartment and trunk areas. I truly believe that if I was to part this car out I could make allot more that my LOW sales price. I looked up OEM parts on eBay just now and this is what I found. The drivers door with Glass, tracks, handles, hinges and misc hardware sells for as much as $700 each. I seen the trunk lid with the emblems, hinges and latch selling for $500. I seen the TRUE OEM fenders selling for $400 each. I seen the right rear quarter panel selling for $500. I seen the engine and transmission selling for as much as $800 as a pair. I also seen a complete glass set that was original OEM going for $1000. Now these were prices that were being asked for and I don't really know what the true end selling price was. I don't have time or space to part out my NOVA, plus I don't want to ruin someones dream of actually owning a true- NEAR original 1962 Chevy II Nova that is an unmolested factory classic. Plus its and hard to find 1962 Chevy II that' has not been restored yet. My description is the information I person ally know and if there is anything I missed then please let me know and I will make corrections and additions.
