Up for bid is a decent 1979 MG Midget.Chassis looks to be in very good condition.Work done so far,new drivers inner and outer rocker panel,lower door post and door post skin.New rear brakes,hardware and wheel cylinders,new clutch slave cylinder hose and best of all a new Weber carburetor. .Engine is a 1500 with 101,000 miles,runs very well and also has electronic ignition added for dependability. The car will need the body work finished and painted.The paint that is on it now will buff out decently,it looks like it has been repainted in its past.There is some bubbling started on passenger side,pictures will show condition. I ran out of time to finish the car.My starting price will be way lower than what I have in the car.It will need to be towed due to inspection.The clutch feels strong and seems to stop ok,though the front rotors have some surface rust.I will leave the front fender loose so you can finish the bodywork.I am sure I forgot many things to mention.I would prefer the car to be checked out ahead of time in person but will do the best I can to answer any questions.On Jul-30-14 at 04:07:59 PDT, seller added the following information: The tires are in good shape with good tread.Will need convertible top repaired or replace and carpeting,the front section is missing.Upholstery is in good used condtion also.Thanks for looking.Check my feedback,Im a honest seller.I am sure I forgot to mention a few things that maybe pics arent showing.Good luck bidding
