1947 Ford Walk-In Delivery Van body, NOT a vanette. The motor and tranny are gone but the VIN shows that the motor was a 239 flathead V8. The old walk-in delivery vans are very rare and very, very few still exist, particularly with this stainless body, I haven't seen another one. This vehicle is about 17' long and approximately 8' tall. I am 6' 0" and have no trouble standing up inside the van. Ford made the front of the cab out of galvanize steel and the van was sent to California to have a Stainless Steel box assembled to the frame. The body is solid as a rock. Most of these vans are full of rot, but this one is rock solid. It will need some body work to lower rear from damage, but is not that bad, I took close up pics to show exactly what it is.
