This is my 1942 Harley Davidson Flathead WL. I bought this bike from a 88 year old gentleman from Florida a few years ago, whose daughter made him quite ridin. All the info I have on it came from him. He told me he bought it out of a museum in Arizona. The title lists it as a 42 WL, but it has a 1956 Servi-car motor. He told me that the 45 inch side valve V-twin had 500 miles on a rebuild when he got it. Like many old Harleys, nothing ever stays stock. I also have the original "buddy seat " for it. I changed it to a single solo so my short legs would touch the ground. This old gal is a good ridin, good startin, good runnin machine & well maintained. It is always stored in a controlled environment garage. I have won many shows with it. I am just too old to kick it over and ride. Always lots of nice compliments at the Sturgis Rally years ago. It is time for someone else to enjoy her. I am asking $12,500.00 for it, but willing to take a good offer. I am located just 300 miles from Sturgis, so you can stop & get it on your way.
