The vehicle was involved in front collision. The airbags did NOT deploy. We replaced the front bumper, right fender, core support and hood. The A/C condenser and Radiator were also replaced to complete the cooling. The ambient temp sensor is faulty and will need to be replaced. Also the hoop ajar warning is on because there is no wiring for the hood sensor. The lower half of the air intake box is cracked and will need to be replaced. The power steering cooler was damaged and will need to be replaced. This Captiva now runs and lot drives in its current condition with no issues found in the engine, transmission, cooling and/or frame. All of the remaining body damage is visible in the photos. About The Title Michigan salvage titles can be transferred or re-assigned to in-state and out-of-state buyers. It can be transferred to any buyer in any state or country. The buyer can obtain a salvage inspection in his state, which then allows the vehicle to be licensed for road use.Buyers enjoy huge savings on rebuilt and salvage titled vehicles. If you plan on driving this vehicle a long time, not immediately reselling it, you will certainly save many thousand of dollars over a clear title vehicle. Please remember you drive the vehicle, NOT THE TITLE. I recently heard a Car-Fax commercial stating the amount of salvage vehicle on the road has doubled. I guess more folks are choosing to enjoy the savings available! Drivability Details The term LOT DRIVES means we have driven this vehicle in our parking lot only, at speeds below 10 miles per hour.
