Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a very low mileage 2006 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 in excellent condition. It is surprisingly fast, but it's water-cooled, it makes a lot more HP than an air cooled engine. Stock it has 75 HP, with the pipes, re-jetting and air filter setup, it has over 80 HP. It also has a slightly smaller rear sprocket which increases the top end, this bike cruises at 80MPH with no effort, and gets there quickly... The paint is near perfect, the engine chrome is also near perfect, the only blem is a tidbit of rust on the bottom of the rear shocks, but you have to look close to see it. The handlebars and grips are also nice additions, with a one inch riser added to bring the bars back a little more for comfortable cruising. I also have a sissybar backrest with luggage rack and a quick change windshield, handy for longer rides or in the fall. As I noted above, the 2006 was the last year before Honda de-tuned the engine down to a single carburetor, which made a significant difference in performance, so don't be fooled if someone tells you they don't go, the early Shadow Spirits have plenty of zip. The pipes, re-jetting and K&N Air Filter setup cost over a $1000.00 with installation, and the bike sounds great. These bikes are very easy to ride, and the controls are slightly forward, so you can sit back and relax. This bike runs great, you don't even need to use the choke to start it in the summer months. Any questions, please let me know. This is for sale locally, so when it goes, it goes.2006 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 Specifications 5/31/2005 5:57:19 PM Model: VT750DC Engine Type: 745cc liquid-cooled 52o V-twin Bore and Stroke: 79mm x 76mm Compression Ratio: 9.0:1 Valve Train: SOHC; three valves per cylinder Carburetion: Two 34mm diaphragm-type constant-velocity Ignition: CD with electronic advance, two spark plugs per cylinder Transmission: Wide-ratio five-speed Final Drive: O-ring-sealed chain Suspension Front: 41mm fork; 5.1 inches travel Rear: Dual shocks with five-position spring preload adjustability; 3.2 inches travel Brakes Front: Single 296mm disc with twin-piston caliper Rear: Drum Tires Front: 110/80-19 Rear: 160/80-15 Wheelbase: 64.8 inches Rake (Caster Angle): 34o Trail : 152mm (6.0 inches) Seat Height: 26.6 inches Dry Weight: 496 pounds Fuel Capacity: 3.6 gallons, including 1.3-gallon reserve Colors: Candy Orange, Titanium Flame, Candy Dark Red Flame, Black Meets current CARB and EPA standards. On Jul-22-14 at 21:01:40 PDT, seller added the following information: An add on to the description. The billets (the tips of the Cobra Pipes that are inserted into the end of the pipes)) for some reason shed some of their chrome. The pipes themselves are beautiful, I think Cobra outsourced the billets, as I have read other feedback on them where the same thing happened. They now make them out of solid polished aluminum, I wonder why, and I have ordered a set, but probably will not have a chance to change them out. I will include them with the bike. The windshield is a quick change model, I'll swap out a picture tomorrow. Other than this cosmetic issue, which in no way affects the performance of the bike, the bike is ready to ride.
