You are viewing a very rare 1959 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite "garage find" example. Being offered at "No Reserve". Vin #: AN5L/34911 Engine #: 90-U-H-34539 "948cc". Color: Originally rare "Robins Egg Blue" repainted a darker blue many years ago. Clear "Michigan" Title Mileage: 55,207 (actual miles not known) I will be adding more pictures within the next few days. The Austin Healey has been garage stored for over 30 years and is in "non running condition" and will need a full restoration. Under the hood the "Bugeye" looks all original as it left the factory. The original "Robins Egg Blue" color can be seen around the vin plate as shown in one of the pictures. Will need full mechanical restoration. I did hook up a battery and the engine turned over easily and the starter worked fine. Goes into all gears without any issues. I didn't go any further than that. The interior is in good condition as shown in the pictures. Both of the original seats are in excellent condition. Door panels in pretty good shape. Dash is in good condition as shown in the pictures. Has convertible top & frame, but no side curtains. All gauges in good condition. Has heater and ashtray. Non-original steering wheel. Has original key. The body is in solid condition but will need to be restored. Floors look solid but have previous patch repair as shown in under side pictures. Rockers will need to be restored. Windshield has crack in the corner. Trunk is solid with a few rust spots as shown in the trunk pictures. Hood opens and closes and locks as it should. Door gaps excellent. Door handles work fine as well as the latches. The Austin Healey is being sold in "as is" condition with no warranty expressed or implied. The car must be picked up within 10 days of the auction end date. A $10.00 per day storage fee will be charged after the 10 days unless prior arrangements have been made.
