Most vintage Honda CA95 Benly's found on eBay or elsewhere are either Trailer Queens, Barn Finds, Sometimes Original or Goobered up so bad that you spend hundreds or more before you get the first ride. Most need to be restored and some never get finished and end up parted out. I have restored/rebuild many Honda CA95 & CA160 models. I have two in the shop right now. Having stated my case so far, up for bid is the rarest of the rare: Up for bid is a registered and daily ridden 1965 Honda CA95 built from scratch. Say What? Yep, built from scratch. The bike pictured and up for bid was a personal challenge I made to myself. I wanted to build my favorite childhood motorcycle from the sixties with a sixties attitude. Every part was sourced, cleaned to new condition and reassembled. All the chrome is as found and except for new rims and spokes is imperfect. The fuel tank is solid. No repairs or tank sealant. I used an adapter and a Harley petcock instead of the original petcock. No filled dents. The engine was sourced, disassembled, bead blasted, ultra sonic cleaned and painted with two part high heat and fuel resistant paint. New Pistons, rings & wrist pins. Cylinders: bored .50 over to the exact manufacturer specs. Valves: Recut valve seats and valve's. Milled head to assure good head gasket mate. New seals & gaskets. I have ridden 250+ miles with this bike. No smoke. Starts in an instant! The Carb has been rebuilt after ultrasonic cleaning. The Starter was rebuilt and lubricated with lifetime lubrication. New Speedometer cable. All electric components work. The headlight is new with a replaceable bulb. Even the small bulbs for high beam and speedometer are new. I have the old mufflers for the bike if the new owner does not like the straight pipes. The mufflers are painted and not pretty. Take a ride! The oil has been changed every 50 miles for good measure. No sign of excessive wear. The rims, spokes and tires have 250 miles on them. (installed new) All wheel bearings were replaced with sealed bearings. The sprocket hub bearings are as well as all moving parts are lubricated with aircraft grade lubricants. The front fender was new "old" stock and never damaged. All body parts were sandblasted and primed with 2 part automotive primer. The color is metallic red, Acrylic 2 Part Enamel. The steering bearings and race were cleaned and lubricated with lifetime grease. I have installed my signature turn signals, wired separately from the original electrical system. All controls and electrical connections were cleaned and lubricated with dielectric grease. The battery is about 1 year old. The seat is original except for the seat trim. I have been commuting to work with this bike for two plus years. It's a daily rider and a "bad boy" Thanks for reading this far down. I'm open to any questions!
