This is a NO RESERVE listing. This is my 1997 Acura 2.2CL Premium with the rare 5-speed manual transmission. The timing belt and water pump have recently been replaced along with other major service at the Acura dealer. This Acura is in AMAZING, OUTSTANDING, INCREDIBLE condition. You cannot believe how pristine and gorgeous this car is for the age and mileage. It is superb in every way- this car is a true find. Every so often you will come across a higher-mileage car like this that is in impeccable, pristine and incredible condition. These cars are incredibly rare. To find an owner who is willing to keep a car in superb, near-perfect condition for this long is amazing. If someone told you this car had 20,000 miles you would believe it. I cannot overemphasize how superb the condition of this car is. This has to be the nicest 2.2CL for sale anywhere in the country, regardless of mileage. The 2.2CL is in my opinion, one of the best products the Honda Motor Company made- it is a superb combination of bulletproof reliability, luxury and economy (34mpg highway). This car has the reliability of its cousin and platform-mate, the Honda Accord. It has superb luxury and amenities of leather and all power options and it is a very comfortable car. It also has outstanding fuel economy from its 2.2L VTEC 4-cylinder engine and 5-speed manual transmission. This car has everything going for it. I don't know where you would ever find a cleaner, better-kept example of this car. This car is in near time-capsule condition; it is truly outstanding. The paint and body are excellent. The paint appears to be original with no known accidents. The body is straight, clean, rust-free (ZERO RUST) and extremely clean in every way. Even the aluminum wheels are in superb shape and the tires are nearly new. The exterior and body of this car are just superb- you cannot imagine how a 1997 car could have been this well-preserved. The interior of this Acura looks basically like it did when it was new. There is practically no sign of use or wear in the interior at all. The leather seats are excellent, the carpets look new and the upholstery and switchgear is clean and excellent. There is no wear on the radio buttons, climate control buttons, shift knob or steering wheel. Every interior surface, switch and button looks like new. Again, I cannot imagine how the interior of a 1997 car could ever look any better. This car runs and drives perfectly. It has none of the typical high-mileage squeaks, rattles or clunks. This car is TIGHT, solid and drives just like a new vehicle. It is quiet, smooth and powerful. The engine, transmission, clutch, brakes, and suspension are all superb. There are zero known mechanical or electrical problems- everything on this car works just like it should. There are no warning lights illuminated. This is a totally reliable and dependable vehicle in every way. I wouldn't hesitate to jump in this car and drive to California and back. All of the power options and equipment are working- the power moonroof, power windows, power locks, cruise control, climate control and A/C, radio and CD player- all are working perfectly. I have a receipt from our local Acura dealer for a recent service which included the timing belt, water pump, drive belts, cooling system service, spark plugs and 4-wheel alignment for a total service bill of over $1300. This car needs NO known mechanical work and it is totally up-to-date on service and ready for another couple hundred thousand miles of driving. I see no reason this car couldn't make it to 400,000 or even 500,000 miles given the condition it has been kept in so far. This car looks better and is in better condition than most 3 year old cars I see with 40,000 miles. This is a 1997 car and as such it is not brand new. Please expect normal signs of wear and use consistent with the age of the car. Here is a complete list of every known defect in the car, no matter how small: there are a few dings along the passenger side and on the passenger door (garage wear), the front and rear bumpers appear to have been repainted (correctly) due to stone nicks, etc. There is a tiny spot of wear on the side bolster of the driver's leather seat. There is a very minor rattle (heat shield?) and maybe the tiniest leak in the exhaust. You can fly in to Cleveland (CLE) and drive this car home.
