1999 Jaguar XK8- beautiful British Racing Green exterior with oyster leather interior and tan top. Has optional chrome wheels and trunk mounted CD changer. Only 77,804 original miles. Everything works- power windows/locks/seats/mirrors, power tilt/telescope steering, power top. Not running- needs engine work. With such low miles and in such good condition, this is a great project to fix and enjoy for summer and beyond. This is a nice car that was looked after pretty well. Recently had a brand new top and headliner installed (due a vandal with a knife cutting it- thank you insurance). In very nice shape with great body and paint- no major body damage or rust. The only issue with the body is a dent in the very front of the hood- it opens and closes perfectly, so it could be fixed or left alone. The interior is very nice with some wear on the driver seat, other seats great, excellent, carpets and mats very good, and other interior panels very good. Dash wood is excellent. Like all of these, the cupholder needs to be repaired. It has the optional chrome wheels, all in excellent shape, and even the spare wheel is chrome.Some engine upgrades we done- it already have the all aluminum thermostat housing (replacing the original plastic one), and there may have been other work done too. Needs engine repair-not running. Something happened internally in the engine. It is not seized- it will turn over by hand almost all the way one way and almost all the way the other. I was going to repair it for my wife, but I have too many projects- I'll never get to it.. Selling as is for the new owner to either repair the engine, replace it, or convert the car with a GM engine and transmission.. The car is located in Los Gatos California (50 miles south of San Francisco). It has a clean Texas title and Texas plates. It comes with 2 original Jaguar keys (1 black for all locks, and one green valet key for ignition only) and one original Jaguar keyless remote. The car is being sold “AS-IS, WHERE-IS” with no warranty of any kind. The car will need to be towed or trucked to its new home- that is the new owner’s responsibility. The car needs to be picked up no later than 7 days after the auction ends. This is a nice XK8 but it is a 1999 model, 15 years old now.
