Up for auction is a 1948 Ford F6 truck. It has a big V8 in it. The truck DOES NOT HAVE A TITLE. The engine turns over by hand but we have not attempted to start it. It came out of a barn. The family said it last ran about 5 years ago. Pretty much what you see is what you get. We rolled it up and off a flat bed trailer so the wheels do turn. In it's former life it was a water truck for the Genoa Kingston Fire Protection District (located in Illinois). You can still see the name painted on the door. This would make a great Rat Rod, a sign in front of a business, or a restoration project if you are really ambitious. It reminds me of the Towmater from the movie "Cars".
