Vehicle Detail
Here is just a great old truck to restore. Starts, Runs, Drives, Shifts, Stops.....272 Y block # speed on the column (3 on the tree)...just a nice old truck that needs a restoration. Truck has newer tires and the pictures speak for themselves. Truck has an exhaust leak somewhere in the crossover pipe. Motor runs good no knocks no smoke and yes it does leak some oil. New plugs wires cap and rotor. Please ask any and all questions well ahead of the ending of the bid. No warranties express or implied. This is a great project truck for somebody....best of luck...truck is for sale locally...so i reserve the right to end this auction early. This was purchased as a father/son project but was never finished because my son took an interest in a different vehicle. On Jul-08-14 at 09:49:08 PDT, seller added the following information: A real shortbed SWB (6 and 1/2 foot bed)On Jul-08-14 at 10:01:40 PDT, seller added the following information: The paint you see removed from the drivers fender was me wanting to know if the original eggshell paint was under the primer the previous owner had sprayed over top......and indeed it was hiding the original paint and patina. On Jul-09-14 at 07:09:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Thank you Groth43 for the question.......They wanted to know if there was any rust issues and if i had a buy it now price. For some reason Ebay is not posting questions or responses on this ad.....so here goes Truck has 1 very small rust spot in the drivers side inside corner...I had 4 more pictures, but Ebay will not let me load them.I sent them to Groth43....and will send them to anybody who wants them....just email me. Rust spot is smaller than a quarter.Pictures also show a shot across the bed floor showing that it is nice and straight. This is a unibody truck.....so if your looking for a project...you have to start with something thats not a rust bucket! Its not like you can unbolt and replace the bed, or the cab for that matter! Ebay only let me put 24 pics and then simply did not load the last 4....when i called them they said that i could not delete or replace or add any pics! I may add a buy it now price closer to the end of the auction. Thanks for looking!
