1951 GMC half ton pickup.Original condition. Long bed, Body and frame in good condition. Truck originally came from New Mexico but I bought it in NY. In NY the air vent gasket between the hood and windshield was damaged. Water was able to enter here and caused the floor to rust.I found this out when I washed the truck. I replaced the gasket.This was isolated to just the floor. Under the seat it is solid. There are no dents and I do not see any evidence of Bondo. The engine is a 228. When I got it it had a blown head gasket. I replaced it and milled the head and did a valve job. Engine runs great. Rebuilt the carburetor and replaced plugs, points, rotor, cap,coil.6 volts. Has a working radio, Also Fulton Sun Visor. Seats have been reupholstered. Nice chrome on the dash. New chrome bumpers.Transmission is a 3 speed, clutch and trans in good shape. Tires hold air but should be replaced. On Jul-11-14 at 06:36:16 PDT, seller added the following information: Wiring harness seems to have been replaced. Radiator also seems to have been reworked. Floor parts may be order from LMC or Carter Truck parts. The transmission cover is $50 and floor is $70 per side 2 sided. Or simply patched. Has new rubber floor cover.
