1954 GMC Ratrod Truck sitting on an 1983 Mazda frame. The motor is a Ford 2.3 litre 4 cylinder engine from a Ford Ranger with a rare Offenhauser 4 barrel intake with 2 Super 97 carburetors. MSD Ignition,Speedway distributor, fuel filter/regulator setup. The air for the airbags comes from an engine driven air compressor that feeds the air tank under the bed. The truck raises up about 4-5 inches. Some pics show the truck in the up position and some show it down. Both windows roll up and down. Power brakes with new pads, discs in front and drums in the rear. 5 speed manual transmission with a 3.92 gear in the rear end. Painless wiring harness with turn signals, high and low beams.The front bumpers are from a 57 Cadillac. Truck has after market heater. Train horns are mounted under the bed with a trucker style horn pull mounted inside on roof. All front suspension components have been replaced. The truck was built by Joshua Joyce of Village Customs back in 2010The truck has won many awards and always draws a crowd. The truck is 60 years old. The windshield has a crack.
