Vehicle Detail
Re-listed due to non-responsive buyer/non-payment. Please don't waste my time if you aren't serious about buying! This is a mid year '94 F-350 with the first generation 7.3L Powerstroke. If you are looking for a reliable diesel for towing duty, this is a great truck. If you are looking for a show-truck, this is not it! It is Rio Red with a camper shell and bed liner. The hood and roof are oxidized beyond waxing. The side panels are decent but have plenty of dings and scratches...again, not a show truck ;-)The interior is grey and in decent shape. Cloth seats. Overall condition is comparable to the mileage. Power windows & locks, sliding rear window, cruise control, AC. Windshield has a crack that has never been an issue (been there 4 yrs now)....straight down the middle behind the mirror mount. Kenwood CD player with Aux input. Upgraded Kenwood speakers (amp and bass module in picture is NOT included). Aftermarket a-pillar dual gauge pod with EGT and Boost.Great mechanically running truck with 165k miles - which many say is just "broken in". Has 5spd manual tranny with a clutch that shows no signs of slippage. Has two new batteries. It is not a cold natured truck, so the block heater must be used for a couple hours in cold temps before starting.Front tires were put on when I bought it in 2008. I have only put 10k miles on this truck since the purchase. All four rear tires were new in 2011.New fuel pump and all O-rings in 2011...there is no fuel leak on the top of this motor as was problematic. As is common on these trucks, the rear tank pick-up is broken off so it can't be ran much below a 1/4 tank. The front tank is fine in regards to this. UPDATE: There is nothing wrong with this truck that prevents it from being driven as is. The cycle switch on the AC evaporator is bad. I have shorted it with a jumper wire so the compressor will run...and it is cold. You have to switch to vent every 5-10 minutes or so for just minute to keep it from freezing up...or switch to vent when it does freeze up until you feel the airflow again. After being asked several times about rust, I would have to say this is pretty much a rust free truck. Typical surface rust on the frame and suspension areas underneath. Only spec of rust I find on the body is a couple small surface rust spots on the passenger side rocker under the door....not an issue as I see it. Has front and rear fogs, neither currently work. I believe it is a ground or relay/fuse issue. I simply haven't had the time to trouble shoot All 5 gears shift fine. Reverse tends to grind sometimes - I simply engage 5th prior to help eliminate the issue. Once engaged reverse is fine. Homemade filter & tube has been removed as it was not a good fit. Stock air-box with cleanable filter has been re-installed. Please contact me with your email address and I can send you a link to over 40 updated pics. Sold as is with no warranty. Heavy duty hitch as seen in pics NOT included. NO TRADES. Please respond ONLY if you are interested in the truck, want to come look in person and have the money to purchase. The price is very fair when compared to Nada.com, but I will listen to reasonable offers. Do NOT contact me if you are a scammer...move on to the next one please. I'm a serious seller, looking for a serious buyer. Thanks for looking.
