Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1952 Ford convertible hot rod. I'm posting it for a friend who bought it years ago as an unfinished project. He simply does not have the time to complete it. The body is solid w/no rust, rot or dents and is painted in SEM hot rod black. The hood is full of old school louvers and is nosed. The grille is from a 1950 Dodge.Headlights are frenched. The parking lights are possibly from an old Pontiac.Fender skirts are steel Foxcraft overlay type. The floors are very solid and original as well as the trunk floor and spare tire well. The transmission tunnel has been modified to accept the Hydro-Matic trans. Inner rockers doe have some tender areas, but are not bad. This vehicle sits on a stock, solid chassis w/the original rear end, steering and front/rear suspension, but has been lowered 2-1/2" up front and 3" in the rear. Tires are(90%) nice, matching 15" polycord real wide-whites mounted on the correct narrow 15" Ford steel rims. This vehicle has a vintage Cadillac engine/trans combo neatly mounted in . A "Fordillac" as they were called. It's 1953 Cadillac 331 V-8 w/the Hydo-Matic auto trans. It was a strong running unit w/no smoke, noises and good oil pressure that came out of a sedan that went high tech. The drive shaft is in place. All the glass is clear, complete and not broken, The windows all roll up/down smooth, correctly.Window frames are in good condition. There is no interior with the car,but all the garnish mouldings are included and in place. What you see in the pictures is what you're bidding on. Right now the car does not run/drive.Like I stated earlier it is unfinished hot rod or nice custom project. It would be perfect for someone who has the time to finish it.I'm sure many will have questions about the car,so feel free to call the owner at(774-202-7845) or (508)332-2843 ask for Jim.This vehicle has never been titled and being sold with a bill of sale only. To be paid with a bank check or certified funds within 5 days of purchase. On Jul-01-14 at 13:45:09 PDT, seller added the following information:
