1979 Dodge Aspen station wagon, extremely clean 1 owner car, 57,000 miles! This is the proverbial little old lady that drove it to church on Sunday only car! This car was purchased new in Iowa City and was garage kept since day 1. It's got the indestructible Super Six 6 cylinder engine and automatic transmission. The engine starts and runs great, trans shifts perfectly. I have the records for everything that's ever been done to the car. Whatever it needed- it got! Factory A/C that has been converted to R134A that blows cool, but could use a recharge. The body is in good condition- 1 small dent in left rear quarter and 1 on right side where doors meet. There is a small amount of rust in the left rear quarter at the very bottom- otherwise the car is rock solid. It was rust proofed and undercoated when new and I have the original paperwork. The bumpers are both straight and have never been kissed, all doors open and close perfect. All glass is perfect, no cracks or chips, door windows all go up and down perfectly. The tailgate is solid and has newer gas struts that hold the door up firmly. The interior is immaculate short of a little fading in the rear cargo area. The front has rare bucket seats with center console, no tears or rips in the front of back. The carpet has no holes and is very nice. The dash has no cracks, instrument cluster is clear and everything works. Within the last 3,000 miles the following was replaced and receipts are included; all 4 tires- 195/70r14; both front brake calipers, pads, rotors, wheel seals, bearings, rear wheel cylinders, rear shoes, rear axle fluid, 20 lug nuts, battery, belts, hoses, thermostat and gasket, ignition module, cap, rotor, condenser, plugs, wires, water pump, radiator, muffler, tailpipe, wipers, carburetor cleaned and adjusted, tires, and alignment. This car was lovingly maintained and could be driven anywhere- has been a second car for years and now it's time to downsize. Original window sticker, all sale paperwork, original warranty form, owners manual, stereo manual, etc are included. Please ask any questions prior to bidding.
