This is a 1988 J A model Samurai 4WD 5 Speed. Starts and runs great New Top - New Brake Pads on Front and Rotors turned. Drive it home On Jun-28-14 at 00:03:43 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle was test driven today and while it does run OK it dies when you come to a stop it will not idle properly for some reason. I have driven the truck around the neighborhood and had no problems before The vehicle is for sale locally and a guy cane and drove it and we noticed how it was doing. I want to be up front and honest about it because I do not want to misrepresent it in any way. I have a Pacemaker and a Defibrillator and can't work on a vehicle while it is running. I think this is a very minor problem but am being forthright in my description. Please be sure the vehicle runs down the road just fine but will not idle at a stop sign, it fires right back up instantly. I also found out it will need a brake booster. I had not driven the truck in about six weeks or so. I think it is a Carburetor or a Choke issue. I do not want to discourage bidding but wanted to be absolutely honest in my description. I have a good reputation both on e-bay and locally and want to keep it that way So if Supercase70 and gone2trakin want to rescind your bids please do so ASAP. I am not able to work on cars anymore.
