Vehicle Detail
Rust free California car- 94700 miles I bought this car 10 years ago as a project for my son and I. From the extensive work and parts list below you can see what we accomplished. He moved on to other projects and I took a job abroad. So the car has been sitting for the past 6 years in storage. Well it's time for me to move onto other projects and he and I have agreed to sell it. All New Drive Train: Powder coated frame, rear axle and control arms, upper and lower A arms, core support, inner wheel wells and other miscellaneous parts. 4 wheel disc brakes with new power servo, proportioning valve and master cylinder. New shock absorbers. New stainless steel brake lines and caliper hoses. Rebuilt quick ratio power steering box and tie rod ends. Hotchkiss oversize sway bars front and rear Urethane suspension bushings Airbags and compressor New Chevrolet crate motor- 350/295 hp New 4 speed 2004R automatic transmission with overdrive New firewall forward wiringCustom Flowmaster 3" exhaust Body & Interior All original glass good Replacement OEM right front fender and right bumper half (needs rechroming) Body has been undercoated New body to frame bushings New hood hinges Mostly original interior- front seat has been reupholstered in original fabric/vinyl.New carpet and mats Autometer oil, temp and gas gauges Custom steering wheel, (original included) It's got a great patina and I wasn't going to do anything but clear coat it. Other than your choice of paint it needs a RF corner bumper rechrome, bodywork (dent under RR tailight, scrapes along side RF and RR doors), and has a leaking steering box. There is minor rust through on LF fender and along bottom of tailgate. Horn sometimes works. This is a dependable, problem free car and has years of enjoyment left in it. Drives smoothly and quickly. Corners extremely well as a result of the sway bars, high performance shocks and urethane bushings in the control arms. With it's four wheel disc brakes it stops as well as any modern car. With it's Flowmaster exhaust it sounds great, too. Contact Martin @310.666.1268 or mbmnsmith@earthlink.net. email for more pix.
