I purchased this vehicle almost 4 years ago from a local BMW shop who had recently done a ton of work overhauling the engine (timing belt, tensioner, water pump, plugs etc). Since then I've put some additional money into for things like fixing a an O2 sensor, and a steering bracket. My biggest contribution has been in the cosmetics. I purchased custom seat covers because the original leather seats were badly torn. These seat covers are the custom order kind that fit perfectly. I've also added new floor mats and tons of trim pieces, a new battery, trunk lift supports, and all manner of light bulbs. This has never been my daily driver, it has only ever been a side project so in the 4 years I've owned it, it has probably been driven about 1000 miles. The best thing about this car is that it drives great. It starts up immediately and has no issue easily getting on the highway. This has also been a GA car for most of it's life so there is no rust. The power windows and mirrors work, as well as the lights wipers etc, at some point someone added a CD player as well. The custom seat covers have contributed to a much improved interior since I got it, and it has the sport seats which were a desirable option on this vehicle. You could get into this car and drive it off today. It passed it's last emissions inspection in October and as a 25 year old car it never needs another one in the state of GA. It also had NO LEAKS which is nice for a car of this age. As you might expect there are a few issues on this 25 year old car. The 2 biggest issues are the odometer which was broken when I got it and the AC doesn't work. I thought it would be helpful to have a working odometer but the existing one couldn't be repaired so the guy replaced it with another used one. After about a year that one broke, so the mileage shown is not accurate, but in GA a car over 10 years old doesn't need an odometer reading for a clean title so it's not that big of a deal. If this is going to be your daily driver you may want to replace it for logging oil changes etc. I don't know what is wrong with the AC as I've never had it looked at. The fan works but it doesn't get cold. To me in a convertible AC isn't that necessary but if you disagree you could have it repaired. Other than that it has some dings and scratches in the paint which I've tried to capture in the pictures. Occasionally a light comes on telling me that my break light is out but the brake lights appear to be working and the brake light warning light usually goes off after driving around. There are also a few cracks in the dash and I believe the drivers side door was replaced at some point in the past therefore the key I have doesn't work in the door. A key could be easily made but I haven't bothered since I have the top down all the time a lock seems pointless. Overall this is a great driving vehicle that can be used and driven comfortably today.
