1989 Mustang Gt, 5.0 5 Speed Great color combination. No accidents. Never abused. NJ inspection through 2015. Super clean reliable cruiser for the summer. Stock 5.0 engine with tasteful upgrades (front lowering kit incl caster camber plates, new 5 spoke Pony wheels, LX 5.0 tail lights, Bassani exhaust). Super clean example inside and out. Exterior: The blue paint is in excellent overall condition and is mostly original. The hood (due to road chips) and the decklid under the spoiler (small rust spot) were recently repainted and look great. The car’s finish has a beautiful shine and shows extremely well. The BF Goodrich tires have plenty of rubber and are mounted on new 5 spoke pony wheels. There is a very small bubble on the driver side windshield. There are a couple of very tiny ping dents in the roof most likely due to acorn droppings from past Fall. Mechanical: The engine starts right up, idles smooth, and has excellent power. The clutch feels great and the 5 speed shifts clean through all gears. The steering and brakes feel good. The Bassani exhaust upgrade allows the engine to breathe better and the car sounds great. The front lowering kit is an excellent handling upgrade and improves the car’s stance. The pony wheels give the car a more aggressive stance. The original GT turbine wheels will be included with the car. The air conditioning is currently not working - may require a recharge or possibly a new compressor. Interior: The interior is extremely nice. The dash is clean with no cracks or fading, the front and rear seats are in excellent condition. Aftermarket in dash radio works well. The headliner is in good condition. Gauges, lights, wipers, power windows, and horn work as they should. Removable moon roof with cover. Pony logo’d mats. This is a super reliable car that’s a lot of fun to drive. Perfect as a daily driver but also nice enough to bring to local car shows. Overall the car looks likes and drives more like a 53k mile car. Was going to use as a weekend cruiser this summer but my 67 Firebird 400 was just completed so I no longer need.
