You are bidding on a as near perfect a bike as one would find in a showroom. It was purchased in the Spring of 2002 by a very successful Wall Street executive who obviously didn't ride it much. He kept it in a climate controlled garage with his collection of other 'toys' which includes several Ferraris, Porsches, Mercedes, BMW's, a GT-40, a Pantera and a number of other very nice cars of different vintages, I only had a quick peek when I went to look at the BMW Classic, the fellow who showed it to me was the caretaker of the estate. The bike is so nice I'm afraid to ride it, to me, it belongs with a collector, I'm better off with a bike that isn't so perfect. It's Classic BMW Black with the white pinstripes from the factory. If you are looking at this listing, you know it has ABS brakes with huge twin disks in front, one in the rear, a beautiful suspension system, heated hand grips, and as an added plus, the chrome crash guards. It has the original owners manual and the factory tool kit. It was completely serviced in the Fall of 2013, which I have a copy of. Naturally, with 1187 miles. it didn't have a long service history. If you are looking for a R1200c Classic in BMW Black in perfect condition please feel free to bid. This is not a fire sale, this is an opportunity if you are looking for a show piece. There are a great number of higher mileage R1200c's out there, but very few in this condition. I do reserve the right to sell this locally and end the auction early.
