DESCRIPTION For sale is an 1984 BMW 318i 5 Speed with 110k original miles with a clean and clear title and Carfax report. Excellent example of this year and model. It is in great shape for a nearly 30 year old car, showing little wear and tear. Please contact me with any questions prior to bidding. Serious bidders only please! DETAILSENGINE 1.8 liter engine runs well. It does have a cold start problem. Need to rev up a few times to get motor started and then have to wait a few minutes to let warm up and it will hold an idle fine. I have driven this BMW up to 80MPH on the freeway and drives very smoothly on the road. No oil leaks. Clean coolant and all fluids are up to level. TRANSMISSION 3 speed automatic transmission, no grinding or slipping. It shifts well with no issues. INTERIOR All original factory brown leatherette interior, excellent condition, no rips or tears, carpets clean and not soiled, clean crack-free dash (as seen in photos) PAINT AND BODY Body is in great shape with paint in beautiful condition, very glossy. No major dents. Does have some small dings on passenger side rear quarter panel. Above average condition of paint and body for age of BMW. WHEELS AND TIRES Tires have about 50% tread left with a 195/60/14 size. Clean factory BBS style wheels still in great silver color.ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES All gauges and odometer are working correctly. Power mirrors work correctly. Pioneer CD player in dash works well. It has manual sunroof and windows. A/C does not blow cold. EXHAUST Original factory exhaust system that is in great shape. No rust or leaks.SUSPENSION AND BRAKES Brakes are 60% upfront and 65% in rear with good rotors all around. Suspension is tight and rides great. No weird noises from suspension. Solid feel. Drives smoothly on roads and has a comfortable ride. It has a clean title with a clean Carfax. California registration expired November 2013.
