This 1950 Five Light Chevrolet Pickup is stock and has been owned by a family member since it was new. I have operated it since 1976 and it is time for it to find a new home where it will be appreciated. This truck has always been in a dry western climate or kept inside and has no rust. The lower cab corners are original and with out rust. This rig was painted and given an extensive refurb in 2009 but was not given a frame up restoration. The bed is 1/8 inch steel with rhino liner covering but could easily be restored to the wood floor. It has a overhauled 235 straight 6 engine which is pressure oiled as compared to the original 216 engine which is splash oiled. The transmission is a manual four on the floor. Most of the chrome is new as is most of the interior including a new "original look" modern 12 volt radio. The electrical system was also converted to 12 volts with the reburb. Both the brakes and tires are in good shape and it drives well for a truck of that period. It has a new battery. The odometer has been inoperative since I have operated it but I would estimate it to be around 100, 000 Miles. I am selling this truck as is/where is. I reserve the right to end this auction early.
