"NO RESERVE" Call Shawn @ 440-476-9282 1997 Ford Mustang Cobra *28,700 miles (will rise due to weekend car shows) *White paint, White convertible top, tan/black interior *Power convertible top with boot cover *CD player with cassette player *Power windows/locks *Cruise control *Tilt steering *Power drivers seat with lumbar DRIVETRAIN: *4.6 32Valve DOHC V8 with 305 horsepower *Borg Warner T-45 5-speed transmission *3.27 axle ratio *4-wheel disc brakes This Cobra was previously owned by a older couple since new. It was mostly used on the weekends, or for cruising, which is why the mileage is so low. It has been stored off and on for 10 years but started, and lightly cruised to keep it moving. I am the second owner and only have driven on the weekends since the date of purchase. I have owned 3 cobras, all new, and 4 other GT's over the years, so I know alot about these vehicles. They are usually modded, recently crashed, have bent torque boxes, or 5 owners! This is truly a garage find from the original owner with ABSOLUTELY ZERO MODS, and ZERO PAINT WORK!!! All vin stickers are on the bumpers, inside fenders, inside rear quarters, and bottom of doors to show originality. The original books are still in glovebox, as well as the wheel lock socket still hanging from the tire iron! Original spare tire is still new laying in the trunk with no signs of dry rot. The convertible top is close to perfect with little but normal wear, and no signs of yellowing or tearing, Almost looks new! Power top motor works flawless, as well as all the power windows. The car will also come with the original convertible top boot to hide the top when its down, close to new as well. Vehicle shows no rust except on the cast iron parts underneath which is normal, but all floor pans, body panels, doors, etc. look beautiful! The wheels have typical surface blemishes from sitting in the garage for so long, but can easily be re-surfaced. Engine bay is near perfect showing no signs of stress and leaks, with a 1yr old battery. Bottom line is, if your looking for a all original 96 through 98 cobra convertible with zero mods/paintwork, this is it! A true collectors item to enjoy and cruise, or start from scratch if your planning on modding! Everything works as it should, and I think ive described the vehicle as best as possible! Things I have done since purchased: *Serpentine belt, 50 miles *Lubed all suspension and bushings *Adjusted clutch cable *Fully detailed vehicle, including claying, polish, and wax ( I own a high end detailing shop) Things that I recommend doing/replacing in future: *Clutch, grabs, is smooth but stiff due to sitting *Front bushings due to squeaking which they all do it, but I want to be honest. Rides smooth and straight but its been stored, so new bushings would not hurt. *New clutch cable. Works great, but again its been sitting, so it wouldnt hurt to spend a couple of dollars to have a fresh cable Brakes feel close to new, and the tires have around 10k miles on them but show about 95% tread left. No leaks from engine, transmission, or rear end, so your good there. Previous owner recently had the fluids changed, fuel filter/pump changed, new battery all done by a local ford dealer.
