1991 MAZDA SPEC MIATA Championship Winning Racer! Like a NEW BUILD-Ready to Race This car was raced by a championship driver. The engine was then replaced with a Race Engineering Engine and run in 3 races. Less than 6 hours of racing on the new engine! It was then repainted and parked at events as an advertising publicity show vehicle for a body shop, it was only run in an Autocross, an exhibition event and a lap day at Miller Motor Sports Park. It has not been run since then in any wheel-to-wheel racing event. This race car runs like a dream and is described by the championship driver as one of the best 1.6L Spec Miatas he has ever driven. This is a fully-sorted, Multiple Championship and race winning proven Spec Miata. This car was raced by a seasoned racer and has won both the SCCA and NASA regional championships in Southern California attended the SCCA Runoffs, and has been in the top 3 in the regional championship every year it has raced. The engine is like new and starts right up the way you would expect a new engine to. Get a car that will let you run up front! This car isn’t in show car condition but does have new high-quality paint! I would call this paint “99%” There are a few small blemishes (dings) that were painted over, but all-in-all, the paint is excellent. Painting was done by a high-quality paint and body shop as a publicity vehicle for the business. The paint job alone is worth well over $1,500! It also has a NEW WINDSHIELD!
