I am putting up for sale my 1970 Karmann Ghia to make room for another toy. Here is a little history of the car. I am the third owner, it is a Florida car, always garaged and being over 40 years old, I would consider the car to be in great condition. I want to have full disclosure for anyone bidding on the car. The front drivers turn signal is cracked, there are some minor dings and scratches and the previous owner did do some minor body work. The car drives and runs great, could be used as a daily driver, very reliable. I can't tell you how many compliments I've received about this car. Here are some of the things that have been done to the car:- engine and transmission rebuilt- new complete interior, insulated and undercoated- set up for 4 speakers and radio, wired and front kickplate- brake system overhauled- new suspension, adjustable coil overs- electrical system overhauled, wipers, horns, gauges, turn signals, lights, even the clock works!- carburetor rebuilt- engine recently tuned up and valves adjusted- good tires- all new rubber seals throughout, very tight, no leaks- I have the original steering wheel and air cleaner- not the original paint it has been painted once, original paint was yellow- and much more All I ask for is to please, if your going to bid, be serious. Thanks and happy bidding On Jun-13-14 at 10:37:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I've been getting a lot of questions about the floor pans and the condition of the underside of the car. I put a couple of pictures of the underside on the listing. The passenger side is original and the drivers side and back passenger sides have been replaced, they are very solid. The whole underside of the car has been undercoated with a thick coating as you can see. Looks as if they used a truck bed coating, very tough. There is no rust present and the nose of the car has never been hit and appears to have no body work. The body work that has been done appears to be OK and is holding up fine. I've also been getting questions about a buy it now option. I put a no reserve on the car and it will go to the highest bidder, also the transaction will take place within Ebay to protect the buyer and seller. Thank you for you interest
