Up for auction is this very nice 1969 Buick Electra 225. Exterior Condition: This car is in good cosmetic condition. The body paint shows some signs of age. There are some signs of cracking near the front of the car, and a few weather spots scattered around the car's body. The frame underneath is in good shape with very little rust, and there is not a spot of rust on the body. The spokes on the wheel rims show signs of surface rust. The tires on the car are in good condition, approximately halfway through an average tire's lifespan. The windshield and rear window are both in excellent condition as well; there are no chips or cracks in either of them. The trunk lock cover/Buick logo is missing from the back of the car. The curb feelers are in good cosmetic condition and show only minor signs of rust. They help accentuate the classic nature of the car and match the historical license plate.Interior Condition: The interior of the car is in good cosmetic condition as well. The steering wheel is missing the center vinyl piece, and there are a couple of very small stains on the back seat and the back of the driver's seat. There is a CD player/stereo of an unknown brand inside the glove box, but it is missing its face plate. The stereo is wired in and connects to two Focal speakers mounted in the back of the car. The floor mats have a few oil stains on them, but the dashboard, radio, and seatbelts are all in excellent condition, as is the ceiling and the carpet. Operating Condition: The 430-4 big block starts up and runs like a champ. There are a few rust spots on the exhaust manifolds and on the hood springs, but the engine is in very good cosmetic condition for its age. It runs even better than it looks, and the big V-8 sounds just like it should, meaning there are no leaks or other problems with the exhaust. The car rides very smoothly. The transmission fluid is nice and clean, and the transmission shifts through all of the gears properly and without hesitating or jerking.
