Relisting due to non paying bidder. Must go, no reserve. This is going to make someone a beautiful Rod, Custom, Drag Racer or Bonneville car. Body modifications include a 2.5 inch chop top. Tail lights, headlights and antenna are frenched. Front end is tilt up, hood is louvered, door handles are shaved. All work appears to be expertly done, I have looked inside the doors, trunk, roof etc. and can find no evidence of any rust through or dents. Aside from a couple of minor dings from storage it looks ready for final prep and paint. The panel in front of the hood has some surface rust from poor priming and storage but is not rusted through, see photo. The doors shut beautifully and as you can see from the side photos it is super straight, appears to have been block sanded and readied for paint at one point. The front suspension is a new aftermarket Mustang II unit including frame rails, tubular A-frames, new disc brakes, rack and pinion steering and air bags. The rear is a 9" Ford with 4 link suspension and air bags, new. A new Panhard bar is included but not installed. There are no rear brakes. The air bags work great using the individual valves, however a complete pump and line system is also included, new. Some of the trunk floor has been cut out for the suspension, it will need that as well as a transmission tunnel and firewall, both of which are included, see photo. It has sat for awhile though and there is some minor rust to remove. It is set up for a Chevy engine and trans which will drop right in. I have a good running 283 and Turbo 400 available. I don't know if those mounts are universal but any other engine/trans combo would work with minimal changes. A very nice brass top radiator is included. Not shown but included are an aluminum firewall plate and a stock gas tank. An attempt was made to cut a windshield and it broke halfway through. The good news is it comes with no less than 4 other good windshields, as well as a good rear glass and the plexiglass one that was in it. I hear the way to do it is to mask the glass and sandblast off the areas to be removed. The side windows are there but broken. They are flat glass and the frames are good. The tilt front end needs to be mounted to the new Mustang II frame rails. The wheels are new 15" steel smoothies that take the small hubcaps, tires are old but hold air. All of the exterior stainless trim is included, and there is a lot of it, all in great shape, a bend or two from storage but no dents or corrosion. The bumpers and grill bar are straight, unfortunately the rear bumper was stored outside and is rusty, the front should clean up. I don't see the grill itself. All of the window frames, channels, headliner bows, speedometer, glove box, dash and trim is there and in good shape. There is no fabric save for the visors. No door panels, seats, headliner, carpet or wiring. Clear California title, last registration 2002, no back fees. Also going with it but not pictured are one personalized plate 1FINE54 and an original V8 emblem. If I find the other plate or emblem you get those too.
