I’m selling my 1965 mustang fastback project with a No Reserve auction. The car is a factory C code 289 automatic, however 4spd pedals are in the car if you want to find a toploader 4spd and convert it at some point. The car looks great with the steel style wheels and redline tires. The past owner did some work on it but it still needs work- does not run or stop at this time as things were unhooked for resto work. The oil in the engine looks pretty clean as if it was rebuilt before its long period of storage. The car is mostly complete including the door weatherstrip chrome channels which are hard to find. The back fiberglass parts are there. There is also a trap door included but is not shown in the pictures- it has speaker holes in it. The front frame rails look pretty solid; there was floor work and a quarter patch done but the firewall/toe board area still needs some work. Doors look nice underneath, even the fenders appear to be originals and in nice shape. Basically there are solid areas, some unprofessional patches, and some welding that needs to be done- you be the judge on how much you want to put into it as a driver or a trailer queen show car. The car is a great start to a project on a car that that seems to keep rising in value. Please ask any questions before bidding as the car is being sold as is where is.
