Vintage ~ 1973 HONDA XL 350 Dual Sport Enduro bike These are considered by Motorcycle Enthusiasts to be Very DURABLE Bikes (Very Similar to a HONDA 250 XL ENDURO). These are becoming very hard to find these days !!! as these are GREAT Bikes & most people are just not selling them out of their collections & nice examples of these are very rarely coming up for sale. Very complete 1973 HONDA XL 350 Dual Sport Enduro bike , This is a project bike with a nice Fresh cosmetic Restoration (most all of the main components of the bike were removed down to nearly the bare frame (IE) Wheels, tires, oil tank & gas tanks ,seat air cleaner etc etc) most everything was cleaned repainted & re-installed. I think this bike is still fairly original (IE) Frame , Forks, with a very Cool "Upgraded Tuned Exhaust Muffler" with Extractor Style Megaphone Exhaust tip, She has a 1973 Honda Elsinore Street MT Headlight, Horn etc assembly with Tachometer & Speedometer Horn etc, Therefore This beautiful Bikes Mileage I would guess is not be accurate for this bike as they were off the bike & in a box when I got them with the bike & I believe the Speedometer & Tachometer + headlight horn & reflectors etc assembly etc was from a 1973 HONDA MT STREET ELSINORE HONDA Dual Purpose Street bike (It actually fits on to the bike Very Nicely) the headlight & trim ring needs the small bracket or something to be connected properly...but as you can see I think the Headlight Unit Looks GREAT on Her ! ! ! * * THIS BEAUTY EVEN HAS HER ORIGINAL FACTORY HONDA TOOL KIT & HONDA TOOL POUCH !!!! * * She has what looks to be Her Original Included Tail Light and & she still has her Original seat base , Foam & Seat cover (with some normal signs of deterioration). However, if this Beauty sells for my very reasonable "Buy It Now" price I will have my Best Street Rod & M/C upholstery Shop make a Brand New Seat cover for this Wonderful Bike for you. Her Original Gas tank was repainted & I was able to keep her original Fuel Tanks' 1973 HONDA HONDA Winged gas Tank Logos Also, present with the 1973 HONDA ELISNORE MT Street headlight assembly is her Tachometer & Speedometer (I do not have the drive cables, should be available on ebay etc) .It has her Original 1973 HONDA XL 350 Gas Tank (Beautifully refinished but Again she still has her Original 1973 HONDA Tank Logo badges, & She still has Her Original "SUPER TRICK" Original 23" Front Wheel & Front Forks , & original swing arm, She was Updated & Upgraded with FAR Superior Air Forks Mod kit, & also Superior Updated & Upgraded Rear Shocks, and Brand New HUGE Off Road almost New Rear Tire. She appears to have her main Original wire loom that runs from the engine to under the tank etc, However, again, she was last purposed as a off road bike. I have reinstalled her lights etc etc that were given to me in a box from the prior owner. so again, they are present & installed but are not electrically connected. Also,the engine has sat for many years... so long in fact that I am unable to turn the engine over by hand & may need some WD40 & or penetrate oil etc. to get her to turn over & run again,as again, she the Engine is currently not able to turn & therefore, she is NOT Running at this time. However, I have not yet had time to try &work much with trying to start her. As we lost our storage and I am now in a position I need to make room here as soon as possible. She has a updated New "UNI" High Performance Air Cleaner & High Performance Tuned Exhaust. She has her Original Front Fender & Original Rear Fender. that like the tank were beautifully repainted & Look GREAT !!!..Again, She just needs some fairly Minor finishing touches & You will have One GREAT Bike !!! . I was told these Early XL 350's can NADA value guide up to ~ $5,000. Steal this Beauty for a small fraction of that. Please No Low Ball offers This is a No Brainer Deal on a True Classic & Very Beautiful & Very Collectable Vintage Bike (Again, These are Considered Very DURABLE GREAT & SUPER Reliable Bikes & are rapidly becoming very hard to find these days !!! These Wonderful Early Classic Vintage 1973 HONDA XL 350 Dual Sport Enduro bikes are Durable, are Well Balanced, Easy to Ride, Very Nimble, Super Torquie + Very Quick & easy turning + Very "FUN" + Super Easy to Ride ...So when you get this Beauty all worked out & ready to run down the Highway again... As this is a bike that will need a little work to be 100% functional again..But, when completed You will be in for a "BIG TREAT" as these are "QUICK" & SUPER EASY & "FUN" TO RIDE... for Riders of ALL Sizes (IE)...You don' have to be a 8 feet Tall 300 Pound Gorilla to handle her ! to be able to enjoy ride this Wonderful & soon to be Potentially VERY FUN & Versatile ~Super Bike ! I know this is Very Basic Information ...but...For those of you that are Not Vintage Honda Collectors: ....Just so you will know with vintage Honda Motorcycles's Built in the 1960's and 1970's they typically "DO NOT HAVE Matching Engine & Frame Serial Numbers"...Also KAWASAKI's & SUZUKI's etc Also did NOT have matching engine and frame numbers. the only bike that did that I can think of that veered from this was possibly Yamaha. Therefore, Naturally this bikes serial numbers will be close but "WILL NOT HAVE" the same exact #'s (IE) on this Bike Frame# = XL350-1000924 & the Engine# = XL350-1000808 I have belonged to the JAPANESE VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE CLUB for many years & I can tell you with Great Certainty that the above imfomation is the Truth..Also, just 10 minutes ago I Spoke with my Dear Friend "Richard Bowers" who runs "RICKS VINTAGE HONDA's" here in Los Angeles area & just this Morning I double checked this with him and he said Always the numbers will be a close but will be definitely OFF by an average of 1 to 2 hundred Digits...So these are Perfectly Correct for this particular XL Bike according to him...
