Vehicle Detail
This is a very solid, build-able 1947 Studebaker Champion coupe without a title. No reserve auction. It has a smaller rear window than the Starlight Coupes, making it substantially more solid for turning into a drag car. The pictures show the condition accurately, with emphasis on the worst parts. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The better looking bullet-nose front end bolts on the same exact way this one does. This could be an inexpensive way to change your newer four-door into a solid, more desirable coupe. Positives: -Very solid body -Rolls, complete suspension -All glass -Usable seat springs-Most, if not all, of the exterior trim pieces Negatives:-Few small, roughly pencil-thickness sized rust holes in the beads of the driver's floor pan-Rough trunk lid that should be replaced due to rust and dents-A few rust holes in the trunk preventing you from transporting loose golf balls. -One hole in the trunk is the size of a baseball. If we had more time and money, this would be well on it's way to becoming a nostalgia drag car. Unfortunately for us, we're bogged down with early Ford projects. Have something we need? We'll even consider ending the auction early and trading (+/- cash).Stuff in progress: -Model A Phaeton: needs interior, speed equipment, etc. -'32 Chassis: needs suspension, speed equipment, more '32 parts-'34 Fordor survivor hot rod: needs interior-'34 3W hot rod: needs chassis, floor, anything else usable Cleaning up!
