Up for auction is my 1967 Clearwater Aqua Mustang convertible. It comes loaded with some really nice factory options (listed below) including 4 spd, 4 V carb, limited slip rear end, and factory 6000rpm tach. I am the fourth owner and have had this car for 6 years. I have the original window sticker, 3 build sheets (one is torn at the bottom), original bill of sale, owner warranty cards, original owners manual and keys. I did find the second owner through some old restoration receipts and talked to him. He bought the car from his neighbor in New Jersey ( the original owner ) and had it restored in the early 1980's. The engine was re-done, new rear quarters, floor pans and paint at that time. He moved to Missouri and sold it around the mid 1990s to the person I bought it from. The car still has a great shine but it was re-painted more than 30 years ago. The paint does have some scratches and nicks, and there are some bubbles in the front bottom corners of the doors. The quarters are solid as are the floor pans. The top does have a 1 inch tear and a smaller 1/4 inch tear. The interior is showing some wear on the drivers seat back and on the door panels. This car still looks very nice and runs and sounds great. I occasionally drive it to work on nice days and to various cruise nights throughout the summer. Since I have owned it I have put on dual exhaust, new exhaust manifolds, new rear springs, new mustang wheels with new tires, and the carburetor was rebuilt last fall. All gauges including the tach work. The AM radio and power top also work.
