You are bidding on a 1998 Honda RS250 race bike. The bike is in very good condition and is track ready. I bought it about 4 years ago with the intention of using it for track days. I don't race. I bought it from someone who does race, Loudon Road Race Series at New Hampshire International Speedway. He sold because he was moving up to the 600cc class. I've never dropped it, but I'm sure it has been dropped at some point in its life. The plastics surely have evidence of it. The frame is straight, the subframe is straight. Everything works as it should and it is a blast to ride. It is wicked fast, and corners like nothing else I've ever ridden. Nothing will pass it through a turn. The bike appears to be in stock condition with the exception of the rims. They are not stock. they are magnesium and very light weight. They are plenty scratched from tire changes, but they are not bent at all. The bike comes with a new tail/seat fairing not pictured. It is white and has never been mounted on the bike. The bike comes with an extensive owners/parts manual. Actually, it's a three ring notebook about 3 inches thick. The bike comes with spares as pictured. Notably, a radiator and a crankshaft. The radiator is not pretty. It has been damaged and repaired multiple times. The most I can say for it is that it doesn't leak and a new one, if you can find one, will cost you more than the bike. So getting one as a spare is attractive. I don't know how many hours are on the crank. I've never used it and was told when I bought the bike there was plenty of life left in it. I have no idea if that is one race or 100. You can take the bike to the track tomorrow and ride it. If you want to campaign it, you should probably go through it completely, but it is ready to run. It is a race bike, never meant for the street so it never had one. It probably had an MSO but after 16 years, who knows what happened to it. I never had one. I don't know what the exact milage is since it doesn't have an odometer, but it is more than zero.
