For sale a 1985 Honda VF1000R Sport Bike Ain't she a beauty?! Well, ok she may not be a looker but she could be made to be a runner again. all critical parts are there. Restore it or use it as a donor bike. It does come with a Florida Title, extra coils, manual and a key. Some things I know it would need, chain, battery, probably a new tank or significant work done on existing one, coolant overflow tank cap, tires, upper air box with filter, some little misc. springs on the carb. I have cleaned the carbs, drained the oil and I also drained the radiator to see the coolant condition. I then refilled the coolant to prevent seals from drying up. I know these bikes are sort of rare because there were only made for two years '85 and '86. It has a V-4 1000cc engine with gear driven cams. I know how to turn a wrench, but I am no master mechanic. I have not tried to start this bike up, so selling as not running as-is. Let's be honest it's going to take some work to get this running, as to how much work... your guess is as good as mine. If it wasn't obvious from the pictures, this bike has been laid down, it has its warts. Also the left hand handle bar is a bit bent, the windshield has a crack that was bondo'd over then the whole shield was painted, don't ask me why. There are some small holes in the seat cover and no passenger foot pegs. Oh, and some animal has chewed on the front fender a little bit, just an FYI.
