You are bidding on a 1965 CB77 Honda 305 Super Hawk. This bike was donated to us by a retired high school shop teacher who used it originally as a class restoration project and then drove it for many years. Unfortunately, someone broke into his storage garage and stripped the tank and headlight bucket/speedometer/odometer off of it, as well as sliced a cut tin the back of the seat. While we do not have another tank for it, the thieves left the petcock, and we were able to come up with a replacement headlight bucket and speedometer/odometer that are correct. You will see these in the photos. The bike comes with a clear title, and though it has once been painted and is missing the tank, 99% of it is original! The mufflers, which are likely one of the hardest to find parts for this model, are not holed and in good condition, but should be rechromed if planning to used them on a top quality restoration. The engine is free and kicks over. You will see some peeled paint and some rust. Chrome varies from good to slightly pitted. This is a no reserve auction, so the highest bidder wins! Do not ask us for a buy it now price---the auction will run its course. We will be happy to answer any other emailed questions. Part of your purchase price may be tax-deductible, as our museum is a 501 (c) (3) federally recognized non-profit, and we can provide you with a letter of receipt if you so desire. The only bikes we sell tend to be the ones which we have one of the type in our collection already, so we use the funds raised to add other specimens to our collection.
