This is a used 1973 Honda CB450. It was running when parked but is not running now, though the engine kicks over with good compression and is not stuck. We received this motorcycle as a donation to our museum, but have several of these already, so we sell extra bikes/parts to finance other specimens we wish to add to the collection. On the plus side, this bike is 99 percent original. The mufflers, while there are some dents and scratches, are not holed and could easily be redone/chromed. The seat has a tear in the top. It may have had the tank repainted at some point. The chrome work varies from good to light pitting, and as the photos show, you can see light rust in various places. The bike originally belonged to a high school shop teacher who used it for a restoration as a class project, and then rode it for many years until he retired and stored it. There is a Vetter fairing on it as well. The fairing and the mufflers are worth several hundred dollars by themselves.
