1972 Dodge Demon 340 4-speed....original 340 (H-code) but now has a 1973 date code 340 engine with an Edelbrock intake manifold. The rear looks like an 8.25 " ...maybe from the same car as the engine. Power disc brakes, manual steering, rally wheels with good rubber. The battery and radiator are new. The carpet headliner, bucket seat cover, and dashpad are new. The Demon was originally Rally Red but is now Hemi Orange. They did a good job on the color change...very little evidence of the Red left. The paint has a nice shine, but the quarter panels were replaced years ago, and some of the bodywork/paint is now cracking/bubbling. The floor pans look decent, but there was some patchwork done on the frame rails. The car starts right up and runs well. The 340 idles very nicely...sounds like a stock camshaft....very mellow. No problem with the tranny or rear...shifts easily. Brakes, horn, wipers, headlights, gas gauge, speedo, amp gage all work. The radio, temp gage, turn signals, blower motor do not work...that's the way I got the car...and don't have the time to look into it. Sorry, no fender tag or build sheet. This is just a fun driver...never be a show car. Not easy to find a drivable H-code 4-speed car for under $ 10k. For sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction any time. Thanks.
