This is a 1982 Camaro Indy Pace Car and this is the 1982 Indianapolis 500 Winners car, won by two time Indy 500 winner Gordon Johncock. Owned by him and driven in Arizona and Michigan, this is the Holy Grail of 1982 Pace Cars. Out of the first three Indys paced by Camaro, this is only known winners Camaro, the locations of the 1967 Camaro won by A.J. Foyt and the 1969 Camaro won by Mario Andretti are unknown. Impeccable documentation, history, tons of docs, models, autographs, and pictures. Car is completely stock, engine, transmission, and rear end original, never rebuilt. This is not a restored trailer queen it is a drivable, operational historical artifact. Brand new Firestone Indy 500 tires.
