I am listing this car for a friend of mine who is experiencing health issues and can no longer enjoy his car. I will do my best to answer questions and represent the car accurately This 1965 Mustang convertible has recently received a body on restoration lasting approximately two years. Original colors are black with red interior. It is an original 289 V8 car, but now is powered by a new crate 5.0 302 c.i. engine that was professionally installed. To the best of my knowledge, the automatic transmission is original to the car. Paint and body are in excellent condit.ion. Receipts from a local restoration shop indicate that both front fenders, rear quarters (inner and outer), valances, and rockers have been replaced (documented). Front and rear bumpers have been replaced. This car shows very well with great gaps and panel fit. New floor pans have been installed. Options include power convertible top (works properly) and power steering. Convertible top is new and BF Goodrich tires have little tread wear. Car has been driven less than 500 miles since its restoration. An extensive amount of receipts for all work performed as well as all parts purchased will be included to document the restoration.
