Selling my 1998 R1200C BMW motorcycle. I bought it last spring to replace a R1150R that was totaled after someone hit me and I am just not ready for a cruiser bike so I am looking to get back into a more sportier ride. The bike ride is extremely comfortable and rides very smooth. I rode back and forth to work everyday putting on 60 miles with out any discomfort. The bike is mostly stock expect a few impressive changes the previous owner did. The handle bars are a thicker gauge and are lowered with heated grips, the front headlight was changed for a bigger look, and the stock muffler was swapped out for one that has a bit more growl to it ( but not over top). I get a lot of compliments on the bike and plenty of admires from riders(even the hard core Harley guys). The back rest folds down to accept a passenger and I have the back chrome rack but need to get bolts to put it back on. The previous owner had saddle bags on it and couldn't find the bolts when I purchased the bike. The Avon Viper tires are two years old have around 1700 miles on them and have plenty of life left on them. The battery is two years old and has been put on a tender when it was stored for the winters. The battery tender is also included in sale. When not in use the bike is garage kept. I found a small chip in the paint when I was washing the bike. I do not know how or when it got there but it is not the noticeable. I do not have a trailer to haul the bike anywhere so the buyer will have to come up here to get the bike or make arrangements to have it shipped. KBB has the bike listed at $4910.00 and that doesn't include all the great upgrades that were made. I am starting the bike well below that value.
