Vehicle Detail
This is a neat car to be restored or as a daily driver. It is a 1966 Ford Thunderbird. It is a 2 door Town Landau. It has the original hubcaps, interior, motor, and transmission. The engine is a 428 4V V8. It has the slide over steering wheel for ease of getting in and out of the car. It has power brakes and power steering. It has a different look, without the rear conventional windows. You are welcome to come and examine and drive the car before purchase. The car is sold as is with no warranty. Please feel free to call George for more information - 580-271-0854. There are some rust spots, and there is some hail damage on the hood and the trunk as well. Please examine the pictures for more information about the car. We can work with your shipper if they come to pick the car up, but delivery is the responsibility of the buyer. The miles on the vehicle show as stated above, but we don't know if these are actual miles or not, so we are not guaranteeing the mileage of the car. It is in nice shape and it is possible that they are right miles. Please check the car out at: Antlers Auto Sales, INC 105 SW C Street Antlers, OK 74523 580-298-6335 TOWN LANDAU (Blind Quarter Roof-Vinyl with S-Bars) Body Serial Code: 87 Body Style Code: 63D Another new model for 1966, the Town Landau replaced the Landau for this one year only. Note the difference between this model and the Town Hardtop: the Town Landau features a Levant grain vinyl roof in Black, White, Parchment, or Sage Gold with color-coordinated S-Bars. Inside, the Town Landau has the same standard equipment and features as the Town Hardtop, with the exception of the floor and roof consoles have a simulated woodgrain appearance, as does the steering wheel (without speed control), and both door panels have woodgrain inserts. The designation "Town" identifies only the rear quarter roof line; the designation "Town Landau" requires the additional trim (vinyl roof, S-Bars, woodgrain, etc.) that are unique to the Town Landau only.On May-05-14 at 10:11:30 PDT, seller added the following information: The following information has been added because of questions that have been asked, and we wanted everyone to have the information: The car runs and drives well. The motor doesn't knock, and the transmission doesn't slip. There don't seem to be significant leaks on the engine or transmission. There is some surface rust, but the frame seems to be in good condition. The switches for the windows are missing, but they will go up and down. The electronic accessories inside may or may not work. The interior is original. It isn't in perfect condition. The door panels and some of the other items do need work. Just a reminder: this car is a 1966, and we don't know every detail about it. Please look at the pictures and make your own mind up. It would be an awesome car fully restored, but I don't want anyone to be disappointed. This car is being sold as-is, with no warranty. It has a clear Oklahoma Title.
