Vehicle Detail

This is a 1916 Dodge Brothers Touring, it is one of the many we inherited in a large estate in Nevada. It has been stored in a shipping container along with other cars I believe since the day it was purchased. The following is from the ad that was on Ebay when he originally purchased the car: 1916 Dodge Brothers Touring 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false Body off and chassis and engine restored and ready to go! ENGINE: Completely rebuilt, aluminum +15 pistons, new rings, crankshaft redone and connecting rods rebabbitted, new valves and seals. TRANSMISSION: Completely rebuilt using New Old Stock (NOS) gears and shafts, new bearings, new clutch all in original, restored aluminum housing. BRAKES: Painted and newly relined. All rods, clevises, springs and, everything there. IGNITION: Hard-to-find NOS Delco distributer assembly. NOS timing gears. STARTER: Rebuilt, hard-to-find Model D starter/generator. Rebuilt using NOS relay assembly. CARBURETOR: Early, rebuilt, “dog-leg” Stewart. CHASSIS: Sandblasted and repainted with chip-resistant Imron paint. TIRES: Four brand new, 33x4 Gerhig never-been-on-the-pavement tires, tubes and rim flaps. UPHOLSTERY: All leather and all original and in great, restorable condition, including all panels. BODY: In really great restorable condition. (I placed the body back on the car and loosely reassembled the car for the pictures.) One slight crease on the body right (passenger) side just below the windshield. Left (drivers) side fender has a patch where it meets the running board. Fenders are a little wilted, but solid and restorable. INCLUDED EXTRAS! Hard to find Van Sicklin speedometer NOS speedo cable Hard to find Roller Smith ammeter with the correct ¼ inch terminals One NOS left rear fender (It has a crease at the rear) Stewart Warner vacuum tank (needs restoring) Complete, original tool kit in original leather case Complete set of side curtains in great condition Boxes of extra parts too many to list. I cannot be sure of any of statements made by the previous seller but this is the best I can provide. I do know he paid $7500 for the car the way it sits now so I am sure someone will end up with a very restorable car. I am not sure if any of the extras are with the car or not due to the size of the Estate and my limited knowledge of these vehicles. There are boxes in the car as seen in the pictures so what is seen in them is what comes with the car. The title is clear, however it is a Michigan title. The deceased has signed the title so all the legal estate documents giving us the right to sell it will be furnished with the car as well as all necessary documents for DMV to obtain a smooth transfer. If your state requires any other documents I will get them to you ASAP. Please ask any questions before bidding and I will attempt to answer them to the best of my ability. Thanks for looking
