Vehicle Detail

This is a 1959 MGA roadster that I have had for over 7 years. I realize that I probably won't get to the project any time soon, so I have decided to offer it for sale. The car is very complete, missing only the dual carb air cleaners, to my knowledge. There are some extra parts, including 2 wire knockoff wheels. The rocker panels need to be replaced (new ones included), as does the wood flooring and also the inner rocker needs some rust repair and the angle braces for the flooring. The car now has a wood dash, but a correct metal dash is included. There is a top mechanism behind the seats, and there are side curtains in the trunk as well. The engine can be turned over by hand, so it is not stuck. The car has the crank for turning over the engine included. The rest of the body is quite solid. The seats in the car are from a later model MGB. I have the original seats and frames, but no bottom cushions. Transport is the responsibility of the buyer. Any questions, call Ted at 440-478-6801. Not sure of the original color on the car. I purchased over $1,000 worth of new parts for the car from Victoria British about 5 years ago. Parts include new windshield, new bumper, tail light lenses, many mechanical parts for brake and clutch rebuild. Also included are some new emblems.I have photos of the packing slip included in the pictures. The parts go with the car. A deposit of $500 through PayPal is due within 48 hours of auction close, and balance due within 7 days of auction end. Deposit is not refundable so if you win the auction you should plan on completing the sale. I bought this car out of Texas on a bill of sale only and that is what I can offer the buyer. I do not have a title for this car. On Apr-30-14 at 05:50:10 PDT, seller added the following information: PayPal deposit is $50.00On Apr-30-14 at 13:49:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Some additional information on this car based on research of VIN and engine numbers. The car was originally "Old English White" code "R" from the vin. The engine serial number, 16GC-U-Hxxxx indicates the car has the highest displacement, horsepower and torque with the 1622 CC engine. Only surpassed by the twin-cam 1600. The "H" indicates "High compression". Compression was 8.9:1 as compared to the 1600cc and 1500cc at 8.3:1.
