I am selling a 1972 Volvo P1800 ES This is an original California blue plate car with a 4 speed transmission with working overdrive. The car starts right up, runs and drive good. The exterior paint is very nice, and shiny painted in the original color code (46). When painted all the windows received new rubber. The interior has just been redone and the seats are all new, and firm. The Carpet is also all new, and perfect. The headliner is original and in good shape. The dash can use a leather re-wrap to make perfect as it currently has a "dash-cap". The wheels were painted, and have new tires on them. This car needs an owner who will take it from being a good car to a great car. The car needs to have the antenna installed (comes with the car), driver side door handle installed (comes with the car), radio to be rebuilt / plugged in and knobs to be found to match. The windshield wipers need to be installed (come with the car), the padding in the engine bay needs to be put in which will need to be made / purchased. When shifting from 1st to 2nd gear if you rush the transmission you can tell that it will need a 2nd gear syncro at some point or perhaps a transmission flush? If you rev match, or drive without hurry you will not have any issues. The motor was rebuilt in the last 5 years, and the oil pressure is high, water temperature stays cool at all times. The spare wheels is inside of the wheel well. The only rust on this car was underneath the battery tray which was at one point cut out, and a 3x3 inch sheet metal piece was welded fixing the problem.
