For sale 1959 Volvo 544 classic. This vehicle has been fully restored over a ten year period. Cylinder head has been refurbished with new valves and harden valve seats, motor has new rings and rod bearings, rebuilt carburetors, rebuilt   generator and water pump.Car has been repainted inside and out in original color. Bumpers have been re-chromed. Front windshield and rubber seal has been replaced as well as rear window seal and trunk seal. Brakes have been completely replaced with new shoes, master and wheel cylinders,   new brake hoses frt. and rear Muffler system has been replaced with correct   parts from Sweden. Fenders were removed undercoated and replaced with new beading   and new rubber moulding. All systems are fully functional,   heater, windshield wipers, all lights and turn signals, radio is AM and   period correct, speedometer works perfectly including trip odometer. Even   the radiator blind works perfectly ( note the pull chain in photos ). Several   areas of the floor pan have been replaced with the correct panels and seam sealed.   There is no rust in any part of the vehicle. Seats and interior panels and   headliner have been replaced where worn , but I left as much original material as   possible. The tires are period correct Michelins 165 X 15 in perfect condition.   Rubber floor mats have been replaced with reproductions   mats. This car won first in class at last years Northern   Calif. Volvo Club Concours. It was also shown in the Palo Alto Concours. The car was used by the former owner in the Civil Air Patrol (   Note distinctive front Air Patrol plate ) I have many original service records and   owners manuals. If you are a collector or a Volvo   enthusiast, this is the chance to own one of the best examples of a early post war   Volvo classic.
